Communicating solely through a messaging app, Nour's husband Majd offers guidance and support as she undertakes this treacherous journey.

The title of the game, "Bury me, my love," carries a poignant meaning in Syrian culture: a phrase that expresses the desire for loved ones to take care and continue living until you can reunite. This phrase takes on even greater significance as Majd imparts these words to Nour before her perilous voyage begins.

Developed as a collaborative effort between ARTE, the European cultural network, The Pixel Hunt, and Figs, Bury me, my Love combines compassionate storytelling with an innovative gameplay format.

As players step into the role of Majd, they engage in conversations with Nour within the familiar setting of a messaging app reminiscent of WhatsApp. Through text messages, exchanging emojis, photos, selfies, and sharing relevant links, players become fully immersed in the story.
